Create an account
One account covers this website and the game. Register here, then sign in with the same email and password when the launcher asks.

Unpack the launcher
Unpack the whole zip into its own folder and keep the
datafolder next to the launcher. Those settings files are what point this install at this server; the launcher on its own installs a different one. - 3
Run the launcher
It downloads and patches the game files, then hands you a Play button. Only the first run takes the full time. If Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus flags it, allow it through: these builds are unsigned, so a warning is expected.

Connect
The launcher already points at this server. If it says the server is offline, the game is down rather than misconfigured: check the home page for status.
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
- A DirectX 8 capable graphics card (almost any GPU made in the last two decades)
- A few hundred MB of free disk space for the downloaded game files
- A broadband internet connection
If patching fails
Right-click the launcher and choose Run as administrator so it can write files, especially if you put it somewhere protected like Program Files. If your antivirus keeps quarantining files, add the game folder to its exclusions.
