What you're downloading

The launcher is a small app, not the full game. The first time you run it, it downloads and patches the complete game client for you, then keeps it up to date on every launch. Once patching finishes you click Play to start the game. There is no separate signup: accounts are created automatically the first time you log in with a username and password of your choosing.

System Requirements

• Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
• A DirectX 8 capable graphics card (almost any GPU made in the last two decades)
• A few hundred MB of free disk space for the downloaded game files
• A broadband internet connection

First run

1. 1. Download the launcher and place it in its own folder (e.g. C:\Games\GTH\), then run it.
2. 2. If Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus flags it, allow it through. This is an unsigned alpha build, so a warning is expected.
3. 3. The launcher downloads and patches the game files, showing a progress bar. This only takes the full time on the first run.
4. 4. Click Play to start the game.
5. 5. Log in with any username and password to automatically create your account.
6. 6. Create a character, pick your class, and you're in.
